What was
the problem with the user's system before?
- The customer
was already using competitor touch model but the software was
quite old and they were not able to get a proper back-up service
for both software and hardware from the supplying company. Apart
from that the customer had seen wireless systems around and wanted
to upgrade to a system that would allow him to use wireless at
some stage.
Proposals to
Nick Long
- The UK dealer
"Brandon business machines" has been selling the QT-7000 touch
with the ICR touch software for over two years. Knowing it to
be a proven solution, he had no hesitation in recommending it
as more than a suitable solution to replace the competitor system.

How did Nick
Long decide to introduce Casio QT-7000?
- The customer
was using a Casio TK-2200 in another pub and had heard that Casio
also did POS systems such as touchscreens and Pads. He knew the
dealer who maintained the TK-2200 and decided on Casio because
he knew that a good back-up service would be there. The customer
also liked the sturdy look of the QT-7000 and the staff found
the software easy to use. Product price changes are easy to carry
out and little training is required for new members of staff.
