CASIO announces a quite new application generation software for the handheld terminals. This software, CASIO Easy Data Collection (Easy Collection), generates a data collection tool running on the handhelds by using EXCEL quite easily.
Easy Collection converts an Excel spreadsheet to a handheld terminal application program and loads into the handheld terminal. Once the user utilizes the Easy Collection application program to collect data, Easy Collection then seamlessly retrieves the collected data back into the Excel spreadsheet on the host PC. Note that CASIO Easy Data Collection works only on the CASIO handheld terminals.

There is no need for expensive and time consuming computer programming. The Easy Collection's application generation function takes the parameters you define in your Excel spreadsheet and instantly enables the handheld terminal to collect data as per your easy to specify instructions.

Easy Collection enables data collection and entry via either barcode scanner or handheld terminal keypad. After you complete the data collection transactions you can easily upload the collected data transactions into an Excel spreadsheet on your host PC.

Don't worry if you don't have your items barcoded, Easy Collection have a printing function to allow you to easily print barcodes for all of your items.
